Cosmopor silicone

Cosmopor® silicone is a sterile wound dressing that can be gently removed thanks to its skin-friendly perforated silicone adhesive layer. It does not stick to the wound or surgical stitches, yet provides strong adhesion. The dressing is flexible and cushioning, breathable, and water-repellent. Additionally, Cosmopor® silicone has a high absorption capacity and excellent retention performance. The viscose wound pad absorbs wound exudate and directs it to the superabsorbent fibers, where the exudate is permanently locked away, preventing it from returning to the wound.

Cosmopor® silicone allows for reliable coverage of acute and postoperative wounds. Its silicone adhesive layer enables gentle removal, making it ideal for patients with sensitive and damaged skin. Cosmopor® silicone is also easy to apply with gloves and is suitable for wound care on various body areas due to its high flexibility.
