Extreme ambient temperatures, other blood components, and the intake of medications do not affect the diagnosis using Contour Next blood glucose test strips. They remain reliable under most operating conditions due to the new sensor technology. If you apply too little blood to the test strip on your first attempt, the technology will indicate that more is needed. Therefore, the sample is not invalidated or rendered worthless with the first attempt. This saves you material in case of such user errors. Thanks to the robust technology, the test strips are stable for up to 24 months when stored at temperatures between 0 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Application

After creating a small drop of blood, usually at the fingertip, moisten a test strip at its rounded end with it. The other end is inserted into the slot of your Contour Next diagnostic device.
