With its special composition, the "drop&see" solution supports optimum compatibility between the contact lens, tear film and cornea. In contrast to conventional solutions, "drop&see" promotes long-term stability of the ocular surface. This counteracts the stressful effects of the environment with fatigue and irritation of the eye. The "drop&see" solution is suitable for normal and sensitive eyes, especially for contact lens wearers. The "drop&see" wetting solution offers the eye optimum comfort and protection. The balance of ingredients supports cell function. The buffering of the tear film protects the cornea from lactic acidosis under the contact lens and its possible long-term consequences. Conventional solutions prevent soiling of the contact lenses by removing calcium ions, among other things, but destabilise the surface of the eye. However, the integrity of the surface is crucial for normal function and protection against infection. "drop&see" does not disrupt cell function and can therefore reduce the risk of infection.
