Comfeel® Plus hydrocolloid dressings create a moist wound healing environment and protect the wound in the final stages of healing. The outer film is water- and bacteria-repellent to safeguard the wound from external influences and is smooth to reduce friction. The semi-permeable outer film allows moisture to evaporate while maintaining a moist wound healing climate.

Application

Comfeel® Plus hydrocolloid dressings are indicated for a wide range of minimally to moderately exuding wounds. The dressings are suitable for chronic wounds such as venous ulcers and pressure sores, as well as acute wounds like superficial burns, second-degree superficial burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and abrasions. Depending on the specific characteristics of the wound, the dressing can be worn for up to 7 days. Comfeel® Plus can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing. When the dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a viscous gel that absorbs exudate but does not adhere to the wound bed. Excess moisture evaporates through the semi-permeable outer film.
