Product details

Sacred Wood is an olfactory homage to the true, authentic sandalwood from Mysore, India. In India, the extract of Santalum Album has been used for centuries in perfumery. Unfortunately, the natural stocks have been so severely depleted due to the popularity of the plant that the species is now considered endangered, and the use of the oil for perfumery has been banned. Kilian sought to recreate the unique essence of this fragrance ingredient, which plays such a significant role in the history of perfume. Sacred Wood evokes the sensuality of this ethereal oil through impressions of steaming hot milk aromas with a hint of cumin and geranium. The intense woody nuances of sandalwood, cedarwood, and frankincense give the fragrance a mystical touch and transport us to the distant and vast landscapes of India.

Instructions for use
In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
