Leukomed qualifies for professional use due to its high absorption capacity and special skin compatibility, among many other features. This sterile wound dressing provides reliable coverage for surgical wounds and all types of accidental injuries.

Leukomed is made from a cross-elastic, flexible polyester non-woven fabric, allowing it to conform well to highly contoured body areas. The extra-soft, absorbent wound pad made of viscose non-woven fabric is coated with polypropylene. This prevents it from sticking to the wound and allows for a painless dressing change without compromising wound healing.

Leukomed is air- and water vapor-permeable, which reduces the risk of skin maceration. The rounded corners prevent unwanted rolling of the dressing and ensure secure fixation. Despite its good initial and long-lasting adhesive strength, Leukomed can be removed without leaving any residue.

Leukomed consists of a polyester non-woven backing coated with polyacrylate adhesive, and the wound pad is made from a viscose non-woven fabric coated with polypropylene.
