Product details

Cutimed® Sorbion® Plus is a primary atraumatic wound contact layer made of a polyethylene film. Its special three-dimensional structure minimizes the contact area with the wound bed. This prevents adherence to the wound and ensures a atraumatic dressing change. The pores of the wound contact layer transport exudate from the wound bed to the secondary dressing. At the same time, the three-dimensional structure reduces the backflow of exudate into the wound. This helps to reduce the risk of maceration. Cutimed® Sorbion® Plus conforms optimally to the wound surface and can be removed without leaving any residue.

Ingredients and instructions for use

Instructions for use
Can be used as a wound contact layer with a corresponding secondary wound dressing for exuding wounds such as chronic wounds (e.g. leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, pressure sores) or acute wounds such as skin abrasions, superficial burns and surgical wounds. Depending on the wound situation, only the secondary wound dressing can be changed when changing the dressing. Cutimed® Sorbion® Plus should be changed after 7 days at the latest. However, this maximum dwell time depends on the patient and the wound situation.
