BSN Siltec Sorbact B 22.5x22.5cm (5 pcs.)
Product details
Cutimed Siltec Sorbact B 22.5x22.5cm (5 pcs.)
The highly absorbent foam dressing with a silicone adhesive strip combines the effective exudate management of Cutimed Siltec with the active ingredient-free, bacteria-binding effect of Cutimed Sorbact. Thanks to its purely physical mode of action, Cutimed Sorbact binds and removes bacteria without releasing antimicrobial agents (Sorbact technology). The special Sorbact coating gives the product strong hydrophobic properties. Many pathogenic bacteria and fungi are naturally hydrophobic and therefore adhere to the Sorbact fabric. This reduces the microbial load in the wound with each dressing change and creates optimal conditions for the natural wound healing process.
- No known mechanisms through which bacteria or fungi could develop resistance to Cutimed Sorbact.
- No killing of bacteria and fungi, thus no additional release of endotoxins and the associated delay in healing.
- Effective exudate absorption through superabsorbent foam.
- Reduced risk of maceration due to excellent vertical absorption.
- Unlimited duration of application throughout the course of therapy.
