Leukoplast Leukosan Strip (9 pcs)

Wound closure strips are a well-established option in the field of wound closure. In the development of Leukosan Strip, particular emphasis was placed on high-quality materials and a durable yet flexible adaptation to the wound edges. The specially woven material reduces the risk of skin maceration and allows moisture to pass through. The interwoven polyamide threads ensure exceptional elasticity. This intelligent structure adapts to the different healing stages of a wound. The strong yet skin-friendly adhesive guarantees quick and secure adhesion of the wound edges. Rounded corners prevent the material from rolling up and ensure long-lasting wear on the skin. By using Leukosan Strip, the cosmetic outcome of scars can be improved when skin sutures or staples are removed early. Leukosan Strips are made from either white or skin-colored microporous polyamide fabric, coated with an acrylic polymer adhesive.

Application

  • For atraumatic closure of small wounds and incisions
  • As a supplement to skin sutures

Application duration: can usually be removed after 5 to 7 days.
