Cuticell Contact Silicone Wound Dressing 7.5x10cm (5 pcs)

Cuticell Contact is a sterile primary dressing for lightly to heavily exuding wounds that adheres to the wound surrounding area but not to the moist wound itself (Siltec technology). While the wound exudate can pass freely through the silicone-coated dressing, it simultaneously prevents the absorbent secondary dressing from growing into the wound. This allows the secondary dressing to be changed at any time without traumatizing the wound. The result is an uninterrupted healing process and high safety in therapy.

Cuticell Contact consists of a thin, elastic polyurethane film that is coated on one side with soft silicone. Cuticell Contact is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, such as:

• Venous ulcers, pressure sores
• Surgical wounds
• Blisters
• First and second-degree burns
• Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
• Cuts, abrasions, and skin tears

Cuticell Contact can be used as a wound contact layer in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Cuticell Contact can be combined with antiseptics.

Application

Duration of use: Up to 14 days depending on the condition of the wound (e.g., amount of exudate) and the choice of secondary dressing.
