The easily soluble whey granulate from BIOSANA is particularly suitable as a thirst quencher and as a breakfast drink. The whey produced during cheese making contains essentially five groups of substances: carbohydrates (milk sugar 75%), protein (13%), minerals (8%), water (3%), and fat (1%). Milk sugar (lactose) is considered a valuable sugar substance that is split into glucose and galactose upon absorption in the body. This forms a good foundation for the development of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. The whey proteins are of very high quality and have maximum biological availability (albumin and globulin). Additionally, the proteins contained in the whey are structured in such a way that they include eight important essential amino acids (isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine). Calcium is an essential mineral for the formation of bones and teeth. Magnesium is crucial for normal muscle function and energy metabolism.
