Biatain Silicone is indicated for a wide range of low to heavily exuding wounds in patients weighing 40 kg or more. These include acute wounds such as split skin donor sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure sores and non-infected diabetic foot syndrome. The dressing can be used in combination with compression therapy.
