Bepanthen® PRO Scar Gel with Massage Roller is suitable for the treatment of older and new scars. It was developed to prevent excessive scarring and improve the overall appearance. The silicone in Bepanthen® PRO Scar Gel effectively seals the scar and the dexpanthenol additionally binds moisture in the skin. The massage roller promotes the breakdown of collagen fibres in older scars. This makes the scars smoother and flatter. Redness, tightness and itching are alleviated.
Instructions for use
Treatment with the new Bepanthen® Scar Gel can begin after the wound is completely closed or when the scab has fallen off or the stitches have been removed. For optimum results, Bepanthen® Scar Gel should be applied twice daily for at least two months. Apply the silicone gel thinly to the scar at least twice a day. Do not use the massage roller until at least one month after the wound has closed, as the wound may still be too sensitive. Until then, please only use the scar gel! The massage technique is similar to the veins of a plant leaf: first, the scar is outlined in an oval shape, passing to the right and left of the scar. Then the roller is moved diagonally across the scar and massaged in diagonal strokes in both directions.
