Product details

Askina Scar Repair is a self-adhesive closure film made of soft silicone. It has been developed to prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids, as well as to treat existing scars. The occlusive properties of Askina Scar Repair allow for the maintenance of optimal skin moisture. This positively influences the healing process beneath the skin surface and prevents the formation of excessive scar tissue. It has proven to be the most effective non-invasive scar treatment. Redness, itching, and feelings of tension are reduced. The scar becomes smoother, and skin elasticity improves. Easy to use: thin and comfortable, it can be applied to various anatomical locations. Cost-effective: washable and reusable. Provides limited sun protection. Askina Scar Repair is indicated for the treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars and can also be used on closed wounds to prevent hypertrophic or keloid scars after surgery. Askina Scar Repair is recommended for the treatment of scars resulting from the following factors: closed surgical wounds, closed traumatic wounds, cesarean sections, and burns after reepithelialization.
