Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Dressing is the exudate manager with hydrofiber technology and reinforcing fibers. It absorbs more exudate and is more tear resistant than Aquacel. This dressing can be used as a wound filler or primary dressing for all surface and deep, acute and chronic wounds. It is especially recommended for chronic wounds such as decubitus III-IV, postoperative wound healing disorders, suture dehiscence, pilonidal sinus, split skin removal sites, cleansing and granulation phase, and other deep, gaping, and undermined wounds, including wound pockets.
