The ActiMaris Wound Gel is used to moisturize wound fillers or the wound bed and can be combined with modern wound care products. It keeps the wound moist and has a broad antimicrobial, antifungal, and odor-reducing effect. In combination with, for example, alginates, it can be used like a standard wound gel. It can also be repeatedly applied to acute, chronic, and inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes and skin without causing tissue irritation.
