The 3M Tegaderm Foam is a non-adhesive polyurethane foam dressing specifically designed for the treatment of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Its rapid absorption capability helps create an optimal moist wound healing environment, promoting the healing process. The dressing effectively controls fluid uptake and helps manage wound exudate.
A breathable Tegaderm film on the outside prevents exudate leakage while simultaneously protecting the wound from external contaminants. Due to its non-adhesive nature, the 3M Tegaderm Foam can be removed with minimal pain, preserving the surrounding tissue and making the dressing change more comfortable for the patient.
