3M TEGADERM ALGI 10X20CM

Cleansing, absorbent compress or tamponade made from non-woven calcium alginate fibers. It transforms into a moist gel upon contact with wound exudate and does not stick to the wound. The gel does not dissolve and is easy to remove. It can absorb up to 20 times its own weight in fluid. The wound remains moist and can be combined with Tegaderm Hydrocolloid, Tegaderm Foam, and Tegaderm Absorbent. Suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds; for lightly exuding wounds, Tegaderm Alginate should be moistened. Can be used as a tamponade in wound cavities and tunnels, as well as for venous, arterial, and diabetic ulcers, and stage III pressure ulcers.
