Tegaderm I.V. is a fixation dressing for cannulas and catheters that can be applied quickly and securely thanks to its application frame. The film dressing prevents the penetration of germs and liquids, ensuring reliable protection of the puncture site from external contamination. Its transparency allows for continuous visual monitoring of the wound, reducing the frequency of dressing changes. The long slit and adhesive fleece reinforcements provide excellent moldability and a wrinkle-free application. Each sterile individual package includes additional Medipore adhesive strips and a documentation strip. The adhesive strips can be used to secure the cannula/catheter or tubing, while the documentation strip allows for easy and reliable recording of the date and time of the dressing change. This enables medical personnel to quickly check the condition of the puncture site and the timing of the dressing change at a glance.
