It is also often used medically in conjunction with skin sutures and staples or after their removal to support the wound. Provides clean, atraumatic wound closure with excellent cosmetic results. It has reliably strong skin adhesion properties and due to its high strength, hardly any scar is formed. The artificial silk fleece is porous, so that exudate can flow off. The hypoallergenic adhesive is particularly characterised by its skin-friendliness and consistent adhesive strength. It serves as a closure agent for the treatment of lacerations or surgical incisions.
