The 3M Steri-Strip wound closure strips serve as an alternative to stitches for cuts and lacerations and are made from silicone-coated cellulose fleece, making them specially breathable and exudate-permeable. The wound edges are adapted, ensuring rapid wound healing. Thanks to threads made of acetate silk, they have high tensile strength and low elasticity for reliable application with painless removal. Wound closure strips are exudate-permeable for cuts or lacerations, provide even tension distribution, and thus promote good blood circulation.
