Can the Pulsoxy also be used with small children and is the result reliable?
With babies it is hardly possible, with toddlers it depends: As soon as the finger protrudes over the measuring field, the measurement can be taken successfully. Usually the thumb is the first to succeed, if it is not too short... However, it must then be checked that the finger is in the centre (above the measuring field). It is best to take the first measurements at the paediatrician's so that he or she can check.
So it measures the pulse accurately. SPO2 is hard to say, as I haven't compared it with other devices ;).
May not be suitable for small children as the clamp is a little too big for small fingers. So there is a risk that the measurement is not accurate. Otherwise, the device measures quite accurately.
