Product details

In his book "Wilhelm Tell me a story," Erhard Schümmelfeder narrates 22 radio play-like scenes from the dynamic life world of young people. The author refers to these prose works as "Von-Mund-zu-Mund-Geschichten," which are carried solely by the breath of the protagonists, without any embellishing adornments. The often harsh and unvarnished everyday language of the characters reveals to the attentive reader a deep insight into their emotional experiences: desires, hopes, fears, abysses, and peculiarities of the human soul are reflected in the simple poetry of these earthly-rooted dialogue stories. In the often grotesque situations, the author impressively portrays human characters and pointed depictions of their environments. Some individual scenes from this volume, created in 1991, were later used in the novels "Das Ende der Unendlichkeit," "Die Ideen des Herrn Pumkin," and "Der gehirnerschütterte Herr Camenbert.".
