Berlin, around 1890. Josefine, the daughter of a Berlin blacksmith, discovers the dangerous and scandalous passion for cycling for women during a trip to the Black Forest. Back in Berlin, she risks everything for it. And she loses everything - her family, her friends, and almost herself. But Josefine's fighting spirit is strong. The love of a man encourages her to pursue her dream. In a grueling bicycle race, she wants to prove what she is capable of. In the end, she realizes that it is not victory that matters, but rather other values: friendship, trust, and love.
