What we are here for

In this third installment of the collaborative – partly award-winning – audiobooks by Ursula Mauder and Axel Hacke, Mauder's songs (for the first time original compositions) not only accompany Hacke's texts from "Wozu wir da sind," but also complement and deepen Walter Wemut's thoughts on a successful life in their own way, serving as questions or answers, reassurance or provocation. They give a unique sound to wishing and hoping, to death and dreams, to intoxication, fulfillment, and failure – in short, to life itself.
