A deep-sea submersible with an international research crew lies incapacitated on the floor of the Pacific after being attacked by a massive shark previously thought to be extinct. Experienced deep-sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor is recruited by a visionary Chinese oceanographer to save the crew and the ocean itself from this unstoppable threat: a prehistoric 23-meter-long shark named Megalodon. What no one could have imagined is that Taylor had encountered this terrifying creature years ago.
