Pellworm, North Sea. In the mud off the island, Tamme Hansen, the self-proclaimed assistant to the island policeman Jan Benden, stumbles upon an old bronze sword. He is convinced it must be a legendary, ancient artifact! A few weeks later, Jan is also called to the mudflats, as a female corpse has been found. In her pocket, he discovers a soaked photograph – and it shows the very sword that Tamme found! The investigation proves to be particularly tough, but together with his quirky team, the resourceful Jan is determined to crack the case – or is he?
