Musicians from all regions of German-speaking Switzerland came together to make the beautiful new forms of good old folk music audible, experiential, singable, and danceable for the audience. The music festival became a music celebration. At Rüttihubelbad in Worb, Bern, the Hüüsmüsig Gehrig, a family band from the Uri region, performed alongside the innovative Swiss yodeler Nadja Räss, the virtuosic quartet Laseyer from the foot of the Alpstein in Appenzell, the Bernese Schwyzerörgeli band led by Res Schmid and the Marti brothers, the Eastern Swiss formation Tritonus, which has delved deep into Swiss musical tradition to uncover unknown treasures, the eclectic quartet Fürschi, the Hanneli-Musig, which brings Swiss melodies from the vast collection of folk music researcher Hanny Christen to life, and Max Lässers Überlandorchester, which brings together folk musicians with artists from the folk and rock scenes.
