In a post-apocalyptic world, Momma lives with her 10-year-old twin sons, Samuel and Nolan, in a remote cabin in the woods. The cabin and the close-knit bond of the small family are their only protection against the threats of the forest and the evil in the world. Momma instills in her children that they may only leave the house if they remain connected by long ropes: if this connection is severed, death lurks! However, when one of the boys begins to doubt Momma's warnings, the bond that ties the three of them together is abruptly cut. A terrible struggle for survival begins.
