Allmen and the secret of the dahlias

In a luxury hotel by Lake Zurich, one of the famous dahlia paintings by Fantin-Latour is stolen. The eccentric owner and hotel heiress, Dahlia Gutbauer, hires none other than Johann Friedrich von Allmen to recover the artwork. While Allmen takes on the lucrative assignment with interest, his servant Carlos suspects that this investigation is far too dangerous, especially since a security guard and a hotel guest have already been murdered in connection with the theft. Naturally, the carefree Allmen brushes off the well-meaning warning, but soon he must face off against cold-hearted opponents who are not to be underestimated.
