True Grit Retribution

The 14-year-old Mattie Ross is determined to make sure the cold-blooded murder of her father does not go unpunished. Since the authorities refuse to help her, she decides to take matters into her own hands and bring the cowardly killer Tom Chaney to justice. For $100, she hires the drunken and rough U.S. Marshal Rooster Cogburn, who does not exactly adhere to the law himself. Reluctantly, he is persuaded by Mattie to take her along on the hunt for Chaney—across the lawless expanses of the prairie. However, they are not alone, as Texas Ranger LaBoeuf also wants to capture the fugitive to collect a bounty placed on Chaney for another murder.
