Joel and Emma are spending a summer on an island in the Finnish archipelago with their adoptive daughter Fanni. Here, one can fish, gather mushrooms and berries, and search for goblins. A perfect idyll. However, Emma, who often travels to crisis areas as a photojournalist, is plagued by headaches and hallucinations. Or are they just memories of her assignments that haunt her and threaten to alienate her from herself and her loved ones?
