In the famous Hamann Museum, two crooks disguised as police officers ambush the student night watchman Ole Paulitz and steal paintings worth several million euros. Tim, Karl, Gaby, and Klösschen are taken aback when they notice that the composite sketch of one of the art thieves bears a striking resemblance to Commissioner Schalavsky, a colleague of Gaby's father! Were the fake police officers actually real? TKKG investigates and uncovers interesting connections between the museum founder Petronella Kamilla Hamann, her right-hand man Arne Kaminsky, and his nephew Ole Paulitz.
