What friendship means when the present catches fire

Since their shared youth in the settlement, Hani, Kasih, and Saya have been bound by a deep friendship. After years, the three reunite to reconnect for a few days with the old times. However, whether it's above the rooftops of the city, on the bench in front of the corner store, or at a squat party, it becomes clear that they cannot shake off what so often defines their everyday lives now: the glances, the remarks, hatred, and right-wing terror. Yet their friendship provides them with support. Until a dramatic event puts everything at risk. Shida Bazyar shows with full force what it means to be constantly questioned because of one's background, but also how violence, incitement, and ignorance can be met with solidarity.
