There's a lot happening at Winterstein School! The boys (and the girls!) are thrilled because a soccer casting is causing excitement. The first prize is a spot in the training camp at Lake Garda. One student is particularly ambitious: Anthony. He has only one goal in mind: to become a soccer star! He wouldn't have any time for a magical animal. But then, of all people, he receives a message – in a tattered soccer album. Shortly thereafter, Pamela, the magical guinea pig, is with him. She's far too small to practice soccer with him. So until the casting, Pamela has to make do with Anthony's sister Laura's guinea pigs. Of course, Pamela is offended – and stops talking! Anthony doesn't recognize her among the other guinea pigs! Only then does he realize how important his magical friend is to him. Fortunately, magical animals are not vindictive. – And: "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!" laments Owl Muriel. Because a child from the class is moving away with their magical animal...
