The Visitors (France 1993, 102 min., Rated 12):
Through a magic potion, knight Godefroy and his incredibly strong servant Jacquouille are transported from the 12th century to the present day, leading to tumultuous time travel situations.
Due to a chain of tragic circumstances, knight Godefroy (Jean Reno) accidentally kills his future father-in-law. Godefroy intends to use a magic potion to travel back in time to undo his blunder. However, he ends up 870 years in the future - in the year 1992. Together with his obsequious servant Jacquouille (Christian Clavier), he experiences modern inventions such as airplanes and toilets. But even his possessions have changed: the once family castle has long since become a luxury hotel.
