The two blood brothers, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, are on the hunt for the ruthless crook Brinkley, who will stop at nothing to find the legendary Indian treasure at Silver Lake. To obtain the secret treasure map, he will go over dead bodies. During their pursuit, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand are repeatedly hindered by hostile Indian tribes. In the end, they must watch as Brinkley reaches the treasure cave. Cold-bloodedly, he kills the guardian of the grotto, a blind Indian. The scoundrel believes he is finally at the goal of his dreams...
