The Thing from Another World Uncut Edition

An American research station in Antarctica: a crew of twelve men from various backgrounds. When they investigate the impact of an unknown object, they come under fire from the survivors of a Norwegian station. In self-defense, they shoot back. All they manage to take with them is a sled dog, but this dog is not what it seems: it carries an extraterrestrial organism that is transmitted through touch, which infiltrates the US station. This organism has unpleasant side effects, grotesquely deforming the people it infects. Paranoia spreads, no one is safe, and no one knows how to stop this alien threat.
