Tension guaranteed: The Strong Voices now read crime novels
Detective Jane Rizzoli, a highly ambitious investigator for the Boston police, is called in on a grisly case: A young woman was murdered. Before that, however, the perpetrator had carried out a gynaecological operation on her. This is not the first case of this kind. Rizzoli's chief witness will be the surgeon Catherine Cordell, who survived a similar attack. And now again in highest danger hovers until the gripping showdown.
Claudia Michelsen knows that life can be pretty rough at times. This is probably why she succeeds so well in giving the boyish and not always likeable investigator Jane Rizzoli an authentic voice. It is Michelsen's merit that you can feel the tender core that sits under the tough shell of the policewoman.
