Frank Cross is the youngest television executive in America. He is career-driven and emotionally cold. For him, only the ratings matter – and he wants to take them to new heights this Christmas. He plans a blood-and-action horror show like no one has ever seen before. The viewers will be absolutely thrilled, speculates the ratings technocrat. Advertising revenue quickly skyrockets. But before he can unveil his Christmas gift, something extraordinary happens: a former acquaintance, who has been dead for seven years, suddenly appears in his office. The ghost announces the arrival of three more spirits. It's not a pleasant visit for Frank, as these three spirits have a ghostly radical intervention in store for the selfish misanthrope.
