Product details
In the Nischinski family, everything revolves around one thing: ballet. When Bronislawa and Waslaw grow up in St. Petersburg around 1900, they admire their parents every evening in the dressing room, nervous before performances and exhilarated afterward. The path is also clearly laid out for the two children: they are accepted into the Imperial Ballet Academy - and soon it becomes evident that Waslaw, in particular, surpasses all others. A whole world opens up for the siblings - Paris, London, and later even New York, a world of rigorous training and battered feet, but also a world of glamour and fame.
