The secret of the lost pictures

Luca, Lina and Michi track down two highly valuable works of art in London that disappeared from a local museum some time ago. A pleasant side-effect: their detective team receives expert support in the form of cousin Patsy. But because clear clues are in short supply, the children have no choice but to return to Germany and follow a very vague lead - into the interior of a centuries-old monastery. There they have to skilfully infiltrate and investigate unnoticed. What role does the monk Brother Francis play and what secret is hidden within these eerie walls? When the children discover an old crypt in the monastery cemetery on the edge of the forest, they come across one mystery after another.
