At the Winterstein School, preparations are underway for the 250th anniversary celebration. Miss Cornfield's class is set to rehearse a musical about the school's founder. For director Ida, the casting is already a challenge, as the diva Helene is determined to snag the lead role for herself. However, the true singing talent is the shy Anna-Lena, who would never dare to step into the spotlight! Instead, she does everything to avoid jeopardizing her friendship with Helene. It is only through her magical animal, the chameleon Caspar, that she can overcome her fears. Whether Anna-Lena likes it or not, she must compete against Helene! Ida also has a major conflict with Helene, which is not only about the play but also involves Jo, whom Helene is trying to win over by any means. Jo's magical animal, the bold penguin Juri, throws the trio into complete chaos with his support. When it seems that the entire anniversary celebration might fall through due to strange holes appearing in the schoolyard, the children and their animals must finally learn what truly matters in the magical community: teamwork!.
