1958, a small village in Tuscany. Protected and loved, Amos Bardi (Toby Sebastian) grows up on his parents' farm. One day, Amos' parents discover that their son suffers from a rare eye disease that increasingly limits his vision. After numerous unsuccessful surgeries, it becomes clear: Amos is nearly blind and must attend a boarding school for visually impaired children.
