The midwife II

Several years have passed since Gesa Langwasser set off for Marburg to become a midwife. The terrible memories of the murder series from back then seem to have faded by now. But then fate strikes again: Gesa's cousin Luise suddenly appears at her door, gravely ill with tuberculosis. Gesa departs with Luise for Vienna, where Luise's father – Gesa's uncle – is a respected professor who runs the General Hospital and might offer salvation. Upon arriving in the glamorous metropolis, Gesa realizes that the rift between Luise and her father weighs heavier than she thought. Moreover, a series of sinister and dark incidents occur, leading back to the General Hospital...
