The mentor

Benjamin Rubin, an award-winning writer, still thrives on the fame of his past. In contrast, Martin Wegner is celebrated by the media as an emerging young playwright, but he suffers from an acute writer's block. A mentoring program aimed at fostering young talent is supposed to help both of them. Thus, they meet in a secluded villa in the countryside. It soon becomes clear that the only thing connecting them is the promised fee. When the attractive wife of the younger man also switches sides, the experiment escalates into a competition between two egomaniacs.
