The Magic Flute. A fairytale opera

Tamino, together with the funny bird catcher Papageno, must rescue the beautiful princess Pamina, who is held captive by the feared prince Sarastro in his castle. To ensure their daring rescue plan succeeds, Pamina's mother, the Queen of the Night, gives Tamino and Papageno a magic flute and a glockenspiel. With these, the rescuers can transform evil into good and tame wild animals in the forest. Tamino and Papageno face difficult trials until everyone happily embraces each other. This fairy tale opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is told in an exciting and humorous way for children aged five and up by Bert Alexander Petzold. Illustrator Helena Perez Garcia masterfully makes the eventful story understandable through innovative, colorful images. The audiobook features a staged reading with Antje Hamer, complete with sound effects, as well as plenty of original music. The audiobook is released as part of the "Grosse Klassik kinderleicht.
