The Love Letters of Montmartre

When something deeply sad transforms into something beautiful, only love can be at play. Or Nicolas Barreau. When his beloved wife Hélène dies at just thirty-three years old, Julien Azoulay, a romantic comedy author and father of a small son, is devastated and sees no meaning in life. Reluctantly, he fulfills his wife's final wish: he must write her thirty-three letters, one for each year of her life, and take them to the Montmartre cemetery. In a small secret compartment at the base of the angel statue that adorns Hélène's grave, he deposits the envelopes—until one day the small stack suddenly disappears. Instead, he finds mysterious objects. For every letter he writes now, he receives a response. Hope and love return to the lives of this unfortunate man and his son.
