The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship

In ancient times, the dark ruler Sauron forged rings of power, including the One Ring, the master ring that holds dominion over all other rings. However, Elves and Men united and were ultimately able to defeat Sauron. The Ring was not destroyed but was lost, which is why Sauron was not completely vanquished. After hundreds of years, the Ring came into the possession of the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins, who used it only for the ability to become invisible.

When the Ring passes to his nephew Frodo, the wizard Gandalf suspects what the jewel truly is. As the dark Ringwraiths, the Nazgûl, are already searching for the Ring, Gandalf advises Frodo to take it to the Elven realm of Rivendell, where its fate will be decided. Frodo sets out on a perilous journey with his companions Sam, Merry, and Pippin, where they find assistance from the mysterious ranger Strider. This marks the beginning of a great adventure that leads to the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring, a group tasked with destroying Sauron's curse.
