The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (NZ / USA 2001, 171 min.): The shy young hobbit Frodo Baggins receives a ring. But this ring is more than just a piece of jewelry. It is the Master Ring, the one that controls all, a tool of absolute power that would allow Sauron, the deeply evil Lord of Mordor, to dominate Middle-earth and enslave its peoples.
